Pampa, TX – A four vehicle pile-up has left one woman dead and a child in the hospital
The Department of Public Safety says Lola Dewitt of Pampa ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle. The other vehicle spun and wrecked into two other cars.
Dewitt was driving with her four year old grandson in the car at the time, reports say the child is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened Thursday at the intersection of state loop 171 and US 60, a mile east of Pampa.
Dewitt was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say they do not know if the child was using a seat belt.
