The Detroit Free Press reports a lawsuit filed Wednesday in the US District Court in San Jose, California claims Tesla’s Autopilot system is inherently “flawed, causing cars to steer erratically when it is engaged, and the electric automaker hasn’t delivered promised safety feature improvements as quickly as it should.” The suit was filed on behalf of three Tesla owners and seeks class-action status. According to USA Today, Tesla “fired back” at the allegations, “saying the lawsuit is riddled with factual errors and ‘is a disingenuous attempt to secure attorney’s fees posing as a legitimate legal action.’”
