Amarillo police are investigating the two overnight robberies of pizza delivery drivers and are asking for the public’s help catching the suspects.

Police say the first robbery happened Sunday evening at abandoned address on NW 15th Ave. The driver reported having a gun pointed at him by two men, but was able to leave the scene on foot unharmed.

A second robbery occurred Thursday, when two men again held a gun at a delivery driver in the 1400 block of North Tyler Street. The driver was forced to leave his belongings and was released. He was unharmed.

In both reports, police describe the suspects as a white male and black male, the latter between 18 to 25-years-old.

Police say there is no further evidence linking the two incidents.

Anyone with information is urged to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
